I'm working on a long-term project about food, people, politics and the Middle East that I intend to turn into a book.
I have an MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies (2014-16) from Oxford University. While at Oxford, I also brewed strong coffee as the manager of St. Antony's College Cafe.
My academic research has focused on Middle East media politics, post-revolution Egypt, Iran, and Arabic and Persian. I earned distinction for my year-long thesis project on the Cairo metro.
I've also helped edit anything academic from books to short papers.
